The AR interface, projected next to the card, provides immediate access to the student's courses, timings, and academic details, enhancing the educational experience through technology. Furthermore, the system is designed to recognize when two student IDs are scanned simultaneously, enabling it to display shared classes and locations, thus encouraging student interaction and collaboration based on shared academic interests.
The image shows a design concept that pairs physical student ID cards from Université Paris-Saclay with an interactive augmented reality (AR) screen. The concept emphasizes connectivity and shared experiences, as demonstrated by two student cards side by side, each with distinct student avatars. Upon scanning, the AR screen displays the date and identifies a shared class between the two students, enhancing the sense of community. Detailed information about the shared class is provided, along with a description and a map pinpointing the class location on campus.
